SMITH VALLEY ADVISORY BOARD (SVAB)

MEETING AGENDA

 

DATE: Wednesday February 4th, 2015, 7:00 P.M.

Location: SMITH VALLEY COURTHOUSE 2 Day Lane, Smith, Nevada

Note:   The SVAB reserves the right to consider agenda items in a different order, combine items for consideration or delay discussion relating to an item to accomplish business in the most efficient manner. No action will be taken on any item until it is properly agendized 

1.            Call to order and Flag salute

2.            For Possible Action: Review and adoption of agenda

3.            For Possible Action: Approval of minutes of last meeting

4.            Public Comment: Limited to items not on the agenda; 3 minute time limit. The SVAB may limit the total time for public comment if more than ten people wish to speak.

5.            Reports by public entity representatives

6.            For Possible Action: Permit reviews for February 10th, 2015:

A.     ART WILSON COMPANY - ZONING – PRR-5 - Special use permit issued February 2004 to mine and process gypsum, with the processing to include crushing and screening and to include the expansion of an existing open pit all located on approximately 660 total acres; located between the Weed Heights area and Artesia Lake, in the Singatse Range (APN 10-041-21) STAFF OBSERVATIONS – Business license is current.  Appears to be in use and compliance - no complaints have been received.
